Graphically Advanced Multiplayer Educational Simulations

It's a MUD/MOO... it's educational... it's multimedia... it's real-time...

It's all that, and more!

A GAMES Project

Sell was a multi-player real-time simulation where players were supposed to learn how to run a retail store. Players owned a store in the virtual town of Springfield. They bought merchandise, set prices, advertised, etc. If the player did their job well, then the town's economic simulation would "buy" from them, and not from the competition.

Sell was the only game produced at ILS from the technology developed in the GAMES project. The ILS GAMES project was cancelled in early 1994.

To get a look at what almost was, try taking a walk through Sell.
