Dollar Bay Login Instructions, as of Spring 2003

1. Use a PC, not a Mac
2. Use Netscape (preferred) over Internet Explorer
3. Point your browser to http://dbay.ndsu.edu/~dollarbay/
4. browse the "learn to play" and "about Dollar Bay" materials, as you wish
5. Check for your name on the scoreboard: http://dbay.ndsu.edu:6667/scores
   if your name is "taken" then add class integers, eg. "john.smith" becomes "john.smith426"
6. press login/play
7. enter a username and password (based on your NDSU IIP name, eg. brian.slator or, if necessary, brian.slator426)
8. CLICK THE CREATE CHECKBOX - JUST THIS ONCE
9. Wait, wait wait
10. You might see a map - wait
11. You will see a store interior - wait
12. You will see values appear for cash, net worth, etc.
13. Start to play
